Incorporating Singapore icons into designs of sneakers in a show of national pride

More than 50 students from various tertiary institutions including NUS participated in a project called "In Our Shoes" organised by the Bronx Creative and Design Centre. Fifteen NUS students who participated in the project designed sneakers inspired by the 'Kallang Wave' using a pattern with little dolls that symbolised the waves.
