LTA-NUS noise barriers wins awards for reducing noise from construction sites by up to 30 per cent

Assoc Prof Lee Heow Pueh and Assoc Prof Lim Kian Meng from the Dept of Mechanical Engineering at NUS Faculty of Engineering worked with the Land Transport Authority on a new flat-tip jagged edge noise barrier design, which clinched a merit award at the Minister for National Development’s Research & Development Award.
