National Heart Centre’s clinic especially for women

Prof Carolyn Lam from the Duke-NUS Cardiovascular Academic Clinical Programme noted that there are currently no drugs to treat Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction, and doctors can only treat symptoms and risk factors besides advising patients about lifestyle changes in diet, stress and exercise. Prof Lam is a Senior Consultant who established the Women’s Heart Clinic at the National Heart Centre Singapore, which provides a holistic approach of treating heart diseases for women.
