NUS scientists solve leukaemia puzzle

Prof Lim Tit Meng and his team from the Dept of Biological Sciences at NUS Faculty of Science found that mutated nucleophosmin proteins cause one in three acute myeloid leukaemia patients to possess cancer cells with normal-looking chromosomes by inhibiting cell death and cell differentiation.
