NUS student wins Shell LiveWIRE award for commercialising water purification system

Mr Lim Chong Tee, an Environmental Engineering undergraduate from NUS, has clinched this year's Shell LiveWIRE Award. Together with two NUS graduates, Mr Lim set up social enterprise WateROAM, which markets a portable water filtration system that they invented. The system filters dirty water through a membrane and turns it into potable water.
