NUS study reveals Singaporeans have good family ties but spend less time with family due to work demands

Dr Mathew Mathews from NUS Institute of Policy Studies and Assoc Prof Paulin Straughan from NUS Dept of Sociology conducted the 2013 Survey on Social Attitudes of Singaporeans, which revealed that families in Singapore are doing well but that fewer people were satisfied with their marriages, and that more people, especially men, find that work gets in the way of their desire for more family time.
