NUS undergraduates showcase projects that address salient local social and community issues at Chua Thian Poh Community Leadership Programme Symposium 2015

The Chua Thian Poh Community Leadership Programme Symposium, which was held on 14 April 2015, showcased five research projects conducted by NUS students. The event was graced by Mr Lawrence Wong, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, and Second Minister for Communications and Information. The students presented their projects on topics ranging from elderly communities living in high-rise environments, rehabilitation needs of cancer patients and survivors, Singapore's perception and treatment of foreign spouses, to experiences of licensed moneylenders and borrowers as well as memories of Pulau Brani.
