Out with tuition and in with a reading nation

Mr Tan Tarn How of the Institute of Policy Studies at NUS and Asst Prof Loh Chin Ee of NIE pointed out that the amount of money and time Singapore spends on tuition could be channelled towards helping children to love reading, and discussed reasons why reading is an alternative to tuition.
