Preview of the ‘soft power’ cold war

Dr Lance Gore, Senior Research Fellow of the East Asian Institute at NUS opined that in view of the current international environment surrounding its emergence, China will need a long time to accumulate ‘soft power’. Dr Gore added that the outlook for the ‘soft power’ cold war appears to be unfavourable for China in the mid- to long-term.
