Rather than a helping hand, offer caregivers a listening ear

A study by researchers from Duke-NUS Medical School has found that having someone to talk to lowers the degree of depressive symptoms that working caregivers face. This study is the first here that examines the role of social support from family and friends in alleviating the depressive symptoms that working caregivers face, especially when their work is interrupted by caregiving duties.
