Reflections on Singapore’s 20-year corporate governance journey

Assoc Prof Mak Yuen Teen from the Dept of Accounting, NUS Business School and Member of the Corporate Governance Advisory Committee noted that future revisions of the Code of Corporate Governance will likely continue the increasing focus on broader stakeholders’ interests as well as environmental, social and governance issues, to further promote their integration into corporate strategies and board decision-making.
