Robotic sock may help cut risk of blood clots in veins

Asst Prof Lim Jeong Hoon from the Dept of Medicine at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, as well as Asst Prof Raye Yeow Chen Hua and first-year PhD candidate Mr Low Fanzhe of the Dept of Biomedical Engineering at the NUS Faculty of Engineering invented a novel sock that can help to reduce the risk of deep vein thrombosis in bedridden or immobile patients.
