Singapore ‘must stay relevant to China and the world’

Prof Zheng Yongnian, former Director of the East Asian Institute at NUS, analysed Singapore’s past and present relationship with China. He also discussed the need for Singapore to stay relevant to the world and China as it becomes ever more important in the world’s economy and the region’s security.
