Singapore’s rational decision in respecting international law

Dr Norshahril Saat, Adjunct Lecturer from the Dept of Malay Studies at NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, discussed Singapore’s position on the recent declaration made by President Trump about Jerusalem being the capital of Israel. As a small city state in a bipolarised political landscape dominated by China and the US, Singapore stands firm in its principle in respecting international laws and world sentiments, and not succumbing to larger powers.
