Taxing CPF, SRS savings could raise $1b

Distinguished Prof Ivan Png from NUS Business School and the Dept of Economics at NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and Dr Walter Theseira from SUSS suggested that before raising the goods and services tax, the Government should consider scrapping tax reliefs that benefit high earners more.
