What shopping in Msia means for us

Visiting Prof Sumit Agarwal and Assoc Prof Qian Wenlan from the Dept of Finance at NUS Business School conducted a study which examined the shopping behaviour of Singaporeans prior to the introduction of Malaysia's goods and services tax (GST) in 2015. They noted that GST and price differentials push individuals to shop across the border.
