Why language is a source of pride for Singaporean Indian millennials

Ms Shanthini Selvarajan, Research Assistant in the Society and Identity research cluster at the Institute of Policy Studies in NUS observed that Indian millennials between the ages of 18 and 35 might just be defining “Indianness” a little differently from their elders. She also warned that Indian youths must remain cautious of cultural erosion and in a pre-emptive move, must channel greater effort into participating in Indian culture.
