Assoc Prof Simone Fatichi accorded Hydrologic Sciences Early Career Award

Associate Professor Simone Fatichi from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the NUS Faculty of Engineering has won the Hydrologic Sciences Early Career Award for the hydrology section by American Geophysical Union, the world’s largest Earth and space science society. Assoc Prof Fatichi was recognised for his significant contributions to the Science of Hydrology through the understanding and modelling physical and ecosystem processes at the hydrology-biogeosciences-climate interface.

The Hydrologic Sciences Early Career Award, the highest honour in the field of hydrology for young scientists (up to 10 years post-PhD), is presented annually and recognises outstanding contributions to hydrology through research, education, or societal impacts.
