Assoc Prof Wang Wenru named American Academy of Nursing Fellow

Associate Professor Wang Wenru from NUS Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies has been named a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (AAN), one of the highest honours in the nursing profession globally.

Assoc Prof Wang is one of the 230 nursing leaders worldwide – and the only one from Singapore – selected this year from around the world. She joins a distinguished community of more than 2,700 global nursing leaders recognised by their colleagues for their expertise and contributions to the profession and healthcare. She has over 28 years of experience as a nurse, educator and researcher. Her research is focused on chronic diseases, with an emphasis on heart disease.
