Bettering migrant workers’ lives calls for whole-of-society effort: Experts

Experts in an online forum organised by the Institute of Policy at NUS on 6 May 2020, opined that improving wages and living conditions of foreign workers in Singapore requires a whole-of-society effort. Speakers at the forum titled "Migrant workers: Policy responses and lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic", included moderator Dr Matthew Matthews, Senior Research Fellow and Head, Social Lab at the NUS Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy as well as Assoc Prof Jeremy Lim, Co-Director of global health at the NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health.
