Beyond a Founders’ Memorial, build a monument to the people

Mr Arun Mahizhnan, Special Research Adviser at the Institute of Policy Studies, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS opined that Singapore’s own bicentennial is a good moment to reflect on its own cathedrals and their builders. He added that great leaders are important but are nothing without the many seen and unseen people and acts that support them.
