Book shows relevance of research on daily life

Kiasunomics: Stories of Singaporean Economic Behaviours, a book co-authored by Prof Sumit Agarwal, Visiting Professor from the Dept of Finance at NUS Business School; Assoc Prof Ang Swee Hoon from the Dept of Marketing at NUS Business School; and Dean’s Chair Assoc Prof Sing Tien Foo, Deputy Head (Admin & Finance) at NUS School of Design & Environment and Director, Institute of Real Estate Studies, brings to light the relevance of research, often seen as esoteric, on our daily life and decision-making. It also has a bearing on policy implications, particularly issues on GST, utility consumption and retirement.
