Creating fake wounds to brush up medical skills

The NUS Centre for Healthcare Simulation, which is equipped with sophisticated mannequins that sob, shudder and wail, has turned to experts who specialise in the art of creating mock injuries to simulate scenarios to train its students, due to a shortage of cadavers and real patients.
