Dealing with AI and job displacement

Dr Ker Sin Tze from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS noted that the disruption to jobs and the labour market due to technological change can to some extent be made up for by high economic growth which creates new jobs to absorb surplus labour. He added that the aim should be to take advantage of artificial intelligence development, particularly in the transport and health sectors, to grow the economy to benefit all in Singapore.
