Debunking myth of the sleepy fishing village

Asst Prof Imran Tajudeen from the Dept of Architecture at NUS School of Design and Environment conducted a lecture entitled Viewing Singapore From A Broadened Straits Malay Perspective, 1699-1819. The talk was under the “Singapore History Series – Seven Centuries In Six Episodes”, that is organised as part of the SkillsFuture Festival in collaboration with the Singapore Bicentennial Office.
