Dual class shares: safeguards or minefields?

Assoc Prof Mak opined that if the Singapore Exchange (SGX) proceeds with dual class shares (DCS), perhaps it should only make such shares available to institutional investors and certain prequalified retail investors. He added that the SGX should also consider if DCS are the way to build a sustainable exchange.
