Four ways to raise productivity

Prof Ivan Png from the NUS Business School and the Dept of Economics at the NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences suggested looking into sick leave, landscaping, public lighting, and foreign workers, to enhance productivity and increase growth. Prof Png opined that the common thread through all of his four suggestions is to focus attention on the desired outcomes, and away from the particular way of achieving those outcomes.
