Government-corporate ties in contemporary China

Assoc Prof Alfred Wu Muluan from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS examined the relationship between the Chinese government and the country’s corporate sector. He found that it is especially apparent that the local governments seek to protect and promote enterprises from their own region.
