Help with disability costs welcomed but allowing withdrawal of Medisave may not benefit all

Mr Tan Jin Meng, a postgraduate student from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS opined that instead of allowing Medisave to be used directly for severe disability care, we should use extra funds to pay for higher, shared coverage in CareShield Life – a national insurance scheme which will be launched in 2020.
