Home-grown designers make a splash

'Transformation Bags' by Ms Karyn Lim, an industrial design student at NUS, as well as 'Les Raconteurs' and 'Plexus Lamps' designed respectively by recent NUS industrial design graduates Mr Afzal Imram and Ms Kiera Lin, were some of the works from a collective from Singapore called The Alchemists. Their designs were featured in an exhibition at the Triennale di Milano, a prestigious design museum in Milan.
