Influence of “Japan as Number One” on China over 40 years

Prof Zheng Yongnian, Director of the East Asian Institute at NUS discussed the book “Japan as Number One” by Harvard professor Ezra Vogel, which was published in 1979. The work has had a significant influence on China over the past 40 years as China emerged as a major world power.
