Institute of Policy Studies organises Singapore Perspectives 2016

Themed “We” - after the first word in Singapore’s National Pledge - the Singapore Perspectives 2016 conference examined Singapore’s public policy challenges and sought to gather views on rethinking what it means to be Singaporean, as the country strives towards SG100.

Singapore’sfourth generation leaders - Mr Heng Swee Keat, Minister for Finance; Mr Chan Chun Sing, Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress; Mr Ng Chee Meng, Acting Minister for Education (Schools); and Mr Ong Ye Kung, Acting Minister for Education (Higher Education and Skills) – shared their views on four topics: collaborative governance, cohesive diversity, inclusive growth and the future of “We”’.
