Local medicinal plants being studied by scientists

Professor Ong Wei Yi from the Department of Anatomy at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, who has been studying local plants with a long history of use as traditional medicines, discovered that the Sabah snake grass has significant anti-inflammatory properties, with the potential to treat chronic diseases and conditions like stroke.
