Long Ride to overcoming odds

Assoc Prof Philip Iau from NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and Assoc Prof Mikael Hartman from Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health at NUS raised funds and awareness on issues surrounding breast cancer in Asia and sealed collaboration deals as they rode on their dual-purpose motorcycles from Singapore to Sweden. Assoc Prof Iau also recently launched his book, The Long Road From Singapore which documented the on-the-road challenges and people that both of them faced on their journey.
