More teenage boys paying for sex: Study
A study conducted by Assoc Prof Wong Mee Lian from the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health at NUS, in collaboration with the Department of Sexually Transmitted Infections Control (DSC) Clinic, showed that two in five teenage boys who had visited the DSC Clinic between 2009 and 2014 had paid for sex. This is higher than 15 per cent in the earlier cohort of boys who visited the DSC Clinic between 2006 and 2009.
