More youths learning foreign languages

As interest in foreign languages rise, the Centre of Language Studies (CLS) at NUS has seen about 10 per cent growth in enrolment this year. Ms Nuraniah Mohamed Ismail, a fourth year life science student at NUS who is learning Thai language at CLS, found that learning a new foreign language helps stimulate her mind and creativity.
