New institute to address global health challenges

SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute, a new institute to tackle emerging health challenges such as the spread of infectious diseases was launched on 21 September at the SingHealth Duke-NUS Scientific Congress 2018. The institute will foster collaboration with governments and scientists overseas in areas such as research, policy development and education; and help better insulate countries from global pandemics and increase opportunities for joint research studies across countries.
