Scientists tracing call of a bird finds new species in Indonesia

Mr Philippe Verbelen from Greenpeace, Asst Prof Frank Rheindt from NUS Faculty of Science and researchers from Indonesia Institute of Sciences identified the Rote myzomela, a new species of honeyeater bird that was discovered on Pulau Rote, one of the southernmost islands of the Indonesian archipelago.
