Next to exit: Globalisation?

Prof Chen Kang of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS opined that globalisation creates new winners and losers across national boundaries, but cripples welfare systems that have been built for individual countries. He cautioned that Brexit and the rationale behind seemingly irrational sentiments that are brewing in developed and developing countries should be studied carefully.
