NUS and Lloyd's Register Foundation set up new institute to study risk

NUS and Lloyd’s Register Foundation have launched the Lloyd’s Register Foundation Institute for the Public Understanding of Risk, the first of its kind in Asia. The Institute was set up with a £10 million gift from the Lloyd’s Register Foundation, the largest gift towards 2 that NUS has received from a foreign foundation. NUS also contributed £11 million towards the institute, which will be located at NUS Kent Ridge campus.
