NUS Professor: Elite members of the community can spearhead progress of the Malay language

Assoc Prof Noor Aisha Abdul Rahman, who heads the Dept of Malay Studies at the NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, discussed the development of the Malay language, and opined that language programmes that are relevant to people’s daily activities should be held frequently throughout the year.
