NUS researchers develop advanced material for stable, high capacity rechargeable batteries

A team of researchers led by Prof Loh Kian Ping from the Dept of Science at NUS Faculty of Science have developed a novel organic material known as 3Q. The material, which possesses superior electrical conductivity and energy retention capability can be used to develop ultra-stable, high capacity and environmental friendly rechargeable batteries. The research was published in Nature Energy in May 2017.
