NUS researchers find new promise in old cancer drug

A team of researchers led by Prof Chng Wee Joo, Deputy Director and Senior Principal Investigator from the Cancer Science Institute of Singapore at NUS, has found a small molecule drug, PRIMA-1met, to be effective in inhibiting the growth of colorectal cancer cells and could render chemotherapy treatment more effective.
