NUS shuttle buses turn Wi-Fi hotspots in first-of-its-kind trial

NUS, in collaboration with Starhub, Veniam and ComfortDelGro Bus, has launched a year-long trial that began in June to connect shuttle buses on NUS Kent Ridge campus wirelessly through a mesh network to extend campus WiFi coverage outdoors. The trial is part of NUS’ Living Lab initiative, which is led by the Interactive and Digital Media Institute at NUS.
