NUS students develop software that speeds up event registration

A team of NUS students has developed ‘Facetrax Epic’, a software that speeds up event registration by allowing participants to share images of their faces instead of using their names. The idea was born when Mr Abdul Hadi Abdul Halim, fourth-year computer science student, participated in a hackathon competition in New York as part of his stint under the NUS Overseas Colleges Programme. ‘Facetrax Epic’ is one of the start-ups housed at The Hangar by NUS Enterprise.
