Assoc Prof Rathi Mahendran from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at NUS and Dr Lim Siew Eng from the National University Cancer Institute Singapore co-led a study on 258 caregivers of cancer patients in Singapore, which found that caregivers here feel more burdened and stressed compared with their counterparts in the West.
