NUS survey: Singaporeans' purchasing power top in Asia

An annual survey conducted by the Asia Competitiveness Institute (ACI) of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS has found that Singapore is placed 49th among 103 cities in terms of cost of living, while Singaporeans’ income level is placed at 46th. Their purchasing power placed at 21th, is the highest among countries in Asia.
