NUS Trustee, faculty and staff honoured with National Day Awards

Members of the NUS community were among 3,959 individuals who received the National Day Awards in recognition of their contributions to public service. Mr Peter Ho, a member of NUS Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Urban Redevelopment Authority, was the only recipient of the prestigious Distinguished Service Order. Prof Leo Tan, Adviser to the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum at NUS and Director of Special Projects at the NUS Faculty of Science, was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, and Prof John Wong Eu-Li, Chief Executive, National University Health System and Senior Vice President (Health Affairs) at NUS, received the Public Administration Medal (Gold).
