Origin of "zombie enterprises" in China and reflections on them

Dr Kong Tuan Yuen, Visiting Research Fellow from the East Asian Institute at NUS, discussed the phenomenon of China's “zombie enterprises" and opined that the Chinese government must be cautious when pushing for economic progress through initiatives like the "One Belt, One Road" to prevent the proliferation of such enterprises.
