Prof Chandra Sekhar clinches ASHRAE F. Paul Anderson Award
Professor Chandra Sekhar from the Department of the Built Environment in the College of Design and Engineering at NUS has received the F. Paul Anderson Award from ASHRAE, an international society of heating, refrigerating and air-conditioning professionals, dedicated to advancing human well-being through sustainable technology for the built environment.
The highest award that is only given out once a year, the F. Paul Anderson Award honours an ASHRAE member for their notable achievements, outstanding work or service and exceptional leadership in any field of the Society.
Prof Sekhar is internationally recognised for his work on indoor air quality, thermal comfort, ventilation, and green building technology, among others. A highly decorated Fellow of ASHRAE, Prof Sekhar has extensive consulting experience and has also won numerous awards for his contributions to research and the industry.
